When they arrived they found 54-year-old Daniel H. Davis Sr. shot with a handgun, according to the sheriff’s office.

A medical helicopter flew him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation determined the shooting stemmed from an argument between Davis Sr. and his son, according to the sheriff’s office.

Davis Jr. was arrested and is being held in the Miami County Jail.

His bond was previously set at $3 million in Miami County Municipal Court.
